 DOCULINK is a community for documentary filmmakers who share information, leads, ideas, and a commitment to support each other's growth as nonfiction filmmakers.
The DOCULINK community consists of:
(1) An active email mailing list, which provides a forum for 2000+ subscribers to quickly share information and engage in ongoing discussion about documentary filmmaking.
(2) A website that provides detailed information and resources for documentary filmmakers.
(3) Monthly meetings in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, BC and occasionally in New York, which alternate between guest speakers, work-in-progress screenings and socials.

Documentary Film Centre

 The purpose of the Documentary Film Centre is promote, collect and research German and international film and television documentaries. The Centre’s collection ranges from artistic and social activist documentaries; industrial, nature, educational and cultural films, to journalistic films.
The Documentary Film Centre regularly organises conferences on current and historical developments of documentary film and offers workshops and symposia on subjects relating to film and television production.
It also offers access to the documentary film collection with over 8000 films and the Film Collection of the State of Baden-Württemberg. |

 The Documentary Organizat ion of Canada (DOC) is the collective voice of independent documentary filmmakers across Canada. It is a member driven organization dedicated to promoting, supporting and developing the ar t form of documentary filmmaking.
As a national non-profit association it advocates on behalf of its members to foster an environment conducive to documentary production and strives to strengthen the sector within the broader film production industry. |

EDN - European Documentary Network

 A member-based organisation for professionals working with documentary film and television. EDN supports, stimulates and creates networks within the documentary sector in Europe.
EDN provides documentary consulting and informs about possibilities for funding, financing, development, co-production, distribution and collaboration across borders. This is done via individual consultancy to members on documentary projects, activities like workshops, seminars and conferences as well as through the two indispensable publications DOX magazine and The EDN TV-Guide.
EDN started in September 1996 as a documentary organisation for filmmakers, producers, production companies, distributors, associations, film institutions & boards, universities, festivals, broadcasters and film & television agencies.
Over 900 members from more than 60 countries have joined EDN (January 2008). |
