Founded in 1992, the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival is the oldest documentary film festival in the United States. The ten-day event features over 100 short and feature length documentaries in beautiful and historic Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. Often dubbed "The Filmmakers' Festival," the HSDFF is non-competitive, and prides itself in connecting filmmakers to audiences in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Workshops, panels, and after-party events are held throughout the festival, and our closing weekend's "Filmmakers' Celebration" it a high-profile event open to all selected filmmakers and special guests.
