$25,000 cash prize for top video. Online video portal Vimeo announced on Wednesday that it will hold its first-ever Vimeo Festival and Awards to honor original online videos and their creators. The two-day live event will take place in New York City from October 8-9, with workshops and an award ceremony. Judges include Oscar-nominated director David Lynch, "Super Size Me" documentarian Morgan Spurlock and Roman Coppola, son of Oscar-winning director and producer Francis Ford Coppola.

Submissions may use the Documentary works may include a variety of storytelling methods: presenter led or narrated, fly on the wall, point of view, ambient or personal stories, etc.
