The 49th edition of the Krakow Film Festival in Poland will take place from 29th May to 4th June 2009.

Films are accepted in three categories:

- National (Polish) competition - for short fictions and animations up to 30 minutes and documentaries up to 60 minutes.
- International Competition - for short fictions and animations up to 30 minutes and documentaries up to 60 minutes.
- Feature-length Documentary Competition (for documentaries at least 60 minutes or more)

Only films completed after 1st January 2008 may be submitted to the selection.

Deadlines:

For films produced before 31st August 2008 - 30th November 2008
For films produced after 31st August 2008 - 11th February 2009
