The Sony HDR-FX1000 Handycam is the successor to the HDR-FX1. The camera improves upon its predecessor in a variety of areas, including overall performance and range of features. CinemaTone technology enhances both gamma and color, providing film-like aesthetic. At the heart of the camcorder are three 1/3" ClearVid CMOS Exmor sensors, which capture detailed imagery even in extreme low-light. Combined with a wide-angle lens and a high resolution LCD screen, the HDR-FX1000 is for both the enthusiast and seasoned professional.
