The 2009 Israeli documentary awards ceremony is celebrating its fourth year. Israel is one of the few countries that honors the documentary film industry by acknowledging  extraordinary achievements in the documentary genre. The competition was the first venture that presented full lengths documentaries online. The films will be available for one month where forum members can watch them online and vote for their favorites. 

This year DocMovies together with Kaltura are hosting the competition which includes 20 films and TV series from Israel's top documentary industry. The titles will be available throughout July and August. The initiative is a new test ground for this kind of combination between new media outlet and documentaries. A number of titles haven't been subtitled yet since most films are prestented for the first time prior to commercial releases.

 Don't miss your opportunity to catch quality documentaries online they are free of charge. The films will be removed one day before the ceremony.
